All Action Wrestling wishes fans a Merry Christmas
While All Action Wrestling has taken the weekend before Christmas, it's safe to say that the stars and staff of AAW will still have a full schedule this holiday weekend. The AAW Insider caught up with the All Action Wrestling family to see what was on the repective agendas for the holiday season:
"Dynamite" Seth Knight
"I have plans to go to a few family gatherings and to open gifts with my children on Christmas day. I love all my fans, you are the reason I go out to the erring every weekend. I can't get or of bed sometimes and I can't walk right but its all been worth it when I see a cheering wrestling fan smile. I do it all for you guys. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays."
Captain Madman:
"I'll be letting some nagging injuries heal by relaxing and enjoying some movies, plus spending time with my family. To the fans, be ready for the big show on Dec. 29th featuring the Superstar Bill Dundee and the AAW 24/7 Champion Cpt. MADMAN!!!"
AAW Referee Eric
"I plan on going to see some of my friends I havent seen in a long time. Wrestlers I used to work with and see at the various shows I have worked at in the past. I wish to tell the fans that I sincerely wish them a Merry Christmas, and a very happy and safe New Years! And I am really looking forward to getting in the ring again on the 29th!"
"3G" Eric Wayne
"Not really. But I just hope that all my loving fans won't be too upset at not having the chance to see me this weekend. Christmas could've come early for them when I walked down that ramp and into the light for them to lay their eyes on the best they've ever seen... But they'll have to wait til Dec 29th when they get to say goodbye to Seth Knight and hello to the real face of AAW- the first class, second to none, third generation wrestling sensation."
"Showtime" Daniel Thomas
"I will spend my holidays designing a new jacket. That's right a new jacket and I will enjoy not seeing those idiots for a week. But, when I come back next week during the Bill Dundee show, I will show the fans and that old man who the real superstar is."
"Classy" Xander Legend
"I'm spending my time off flexing in front of the mirror, as the only one privileged enough to see this "Hott!" Bod is the face of the franchise himself. As for all of you puke brains, I hope Santa comes to your house and poops under all your trees. I will be celebrating the holidays w my family and loads of presents from Mr. Red, as I have been nothing but a prince with such classy behavior."
All Action Wrestling returns to the Giant Flea Market in Union City on Dec. 29 with an appearance by wrestling legend "Superstar" Bill Dundee. "Showtime" and Ward discuss lawsuit
The All Action Wrestling Insider caught up with "Showtime" Daniel Thomas and his attorney Terrance Ward in an attempt to get answers regarding his pending lawsuit against AAW as well other a few other topics. Here is a transcript of that sitdown interview:
AAWInsider: So, "Showtime" tell me what is the basis of your lawsuit against All Action Wrestling.
Showtime: I have been mistreated, abused, and forced to work in a hostile work environment. I have been threatened to be fired for no legitimate reason and the upper management have hit the proverbial final nail in the coffin. That's why I've hired an attorney.
AAWInsider: What are you looking to gain if you are successful with your lawsuit against AAW?
Showtime: I believe that is something that he should answer for you. You see I go way back with my attorney and we have always won at everything we do.
AAWInsider: The relationship with you and the AAW fans has always been tenuous at best. Some of them feel you may have gotten what you may have brought this on yourself. What are your thoughts on that?
Showtime: I feel that I have not reaped what I have sewed because of the CEO Haley Brooke Overton. She has prevented me from doing what is right for AAW and that's doing what's right for me. The cowardly attacks against me, such as putting me in a cage match with an MMA fighter and a wrestling match with a professional wrestler is not right. I'm not an athlete, I'm not a fighter, and I'm not a wrestler. I have not been trained to endure the punishment these athletes have. I am a businessman. I do what is right for business and if someone gets in the way of business they get run over.
AAWInsider: Mr. Ward, I'll direct this to you as it is a legal question - what do you and Showtime hope to gain from this lawsuit? Is there an endgame to this course of action?
Ward: There is an endgame result. However, in fairness to my client, I will not be discussing any leverage we may have obtained against AAW. We do however hope, and are confident that we will gain enough that Mr. Thomas will become the sole administrator of AAW. We plan on opening several civil suits against the individuals themselves, to bring them to justice for their discrimination.
AAWInsider: Mr. Ward, can you name these individuals?
Ward: No, that is no concern to any form of media right now until the individuals are properly served.
AAWInisder: Fair enough. Showtime, during the in-ring segment this past Saturday night, "3G" Eric Wayne had the AAW Heavyweight title around his waist. How is that possible?
Showtime: Possession is nine tenth’s of the law, furthermore Seth Knight is nothing more than a paper champion, and that will be proven on the 29th when Eric Wayne Defeats him.
AAWInsider. Okay. Mr. Ward, one of the fans mentioned you were disbarred in Mississippi. Any truth to that?
Ward: That is a matter still being resolved, so I offer no comment.
Showtime: Enough of the questions. Me and my attorney will not answer any more of these questions for you or the stupid fans.
At that time, both Showtime and Ward ended the interview. Hopefully, both the AAW Insider and the fans will get more answers on these subjects soon as AAW returns Dec. 29 with a big show featuring an appearance by wrestling legend "Superstar" Bill Dundee as well as a bout between one half of legendary Memphis tag team and former NWA World Tag Team champion Wolfie D and AAW superstar Maverick, with Maverick's job on the line. Tickets are $10 at the door and doors open at 6:30. Bell time is 7 p.m. at the Giant Flea Market in Union City.
AAW Stars comment on Top 10
This week, after the official Top Ten Contenders list was released on the All Action Wrestling blog, the AAW Insider caught up with a few of the contenders on that list to see what they thought of their position in the Top 10.
Big Boy Leroy (No. 10)
"The rankings are a joke. Team Showtime are the best in AAW. Punks like you print what you want. At the end of the day, its all about who has the last laugh punk."
"Classy" Xander Legend (No. 8)
"Its a travesty that in the season of giving, my drop from No. 1 to 8 was taken from me. I'm the best AAW wrestler in the locker room and won't settle for this travesty."
"The New Age Soldier" Patrick Richards (No. 6)
"Out of all the talent of PWE/AAW I'm graetful to have a spot in the top 10. Now, at number six, I can recon my competition, find a tactical solution, and win the war for the title. Then finally I will be on top of this company and I show all the fans what kind of champion the New Age Soldier really is!"
Jason Rage (No. 4)
"Being the forth man in line im feeling great! My time will come. I'm making my new years resolution becoming world heavyweight champion. 2013 you will see a whole new me!"
All Action Wrestling returns to the Giant Flea Market in Union City on Dec. 29 with an appearance by wrestling legend "Superstar" Bill Dundee. Also on the card, Maverick fights for his AAW career as he takes on one half of legendary Memphis tag team and former NWA World Tag Team champion Wolfie D. All Action Wrestling results from Dec. 15
"Showtime" Daniel Thomas came out to open the show, along with his attorney Terrence W. Ward and "3G" Eric Wayne and addressed this pending lawsuit over being locked in a cage with an MMA fighter during a show last month (more on that later this week). Showtime also said that Jon Michael was not in attendance and alleged that he was "pouting" over his elimination from the Contenders Battle Royal last week. He also noted AAW Heavyweight Champion "Dynamite Seth Knight was also not there and Wayne was sporting the title belt. Ward added that possession is 9/10s of the law.
In the opening bout, "Showtime" was a factor as he distracted Kilo and allowed Big Boy Leroy to get the schoolboy for the pin.
AAW newcomer Zane Richards became the latest to fall to the New Age Soldier as the NAS got the pin after hitting the Final Salute.
In a match that saw Diamond methodically try to take apart Jason Rage, it was the man from Motown that got the win as he countered a chokeslam attempt into a small package for the win.
After taking nearly 10 minutes to get to the ring (even with the entire AAW security team escorting him), "3G" Eric Wayne continued his quest to be the face of AAW. However, underhanded tactics cost him his match against the massive Maverick as the referee caught him using a chair.
Before the main event, "Showtime" Daniel Thomas called out Captain Madman on "Classy" Xander Legend's behalf to issue a challenge for the AAW 24/7 title. "Showtime", in reality, gave the title holder little choice stating that if he didn't agree to defend his belt, he would be fired. The back-and-forth match itself was ruled a no-contest after interference from "Showtime", Eric Wayne, Leroy and Maverick (who ran off the "Showtime" crew). Enraged, "Showtime" made a match for Dec. 29, stating that if Maverick didn't defeat his opponent that night, he would be fired. His opponent that night, "Showtime" revealed: Wolfie D.
All Action Wrestling will return after Christmas on Dec. 29 with a big show that includes not only the Wolfie D./Maverick match, but an appearance by wrestling legend "Superstar" Bill Dundee. Tickets will be $10 at the door and belltime will be 7 p.m. at the Giant Flea Market in Union City. AAW Champion "Dynamite" Seth Knight responds to "3G" Eric Wayne's comments
The fallout from last week's show continued late Friday evening as the AAW Insider was contacted by the All Action Wrestling Heavywight Champion "Dynamite" Seth Knight.
But, rather than go into a lengthy diatribe about what happened on Dec. 8 and what he planned to do in this Saturday night's return bout for the AAW strap, Knight kept it simple.
"What do I think about what "3G" Eric Wayne said about me?" Knight responded. "Tell you what: How about I just give you and my fans my response this Saturday night in the ring when I meet and defeat Eric Wayne."
Last week's bout between the two AAW superstars went to a time-limit draw. After winning the contender battle royal in last week's main event - after entering at No. 10 - Wayne attcked and left Knight laying in the middle of the ring. Be sure to come to the Giant Flea Market in Union City this Saturday night, Dec. 15, to see the next chapter in what is turning into a heated rivalry. Tickets are $6 at the door and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

"3G" Eric Wayne comments on his actions from Dec. 8
After winning the 10-man Rankings Battle Royal this past Saturday night at the Giant Flea Market in Union City, "3G" Eric Wayne earned a shot the All Action Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, "Dynamite" Seth Knight. But, when Knight came out to show sportsmanship to the new No. 1 contender, Wayne sent a clear-cut message to the title holder, decimating him with a brutal attack, punctuated by a Death Valley Driver onto a steel chair.
On Thursday, the AAW Insider caught up with Wayne and asked for a comment on his attack of Knight.
"So you want me to comment on why I attacked Seth Knight at the end of last week's show??" Wayne asked. "Several reasons but the main one being I don't like him. Never have, never will. Seth and I have had our differences in the past and unfortunately for him, I don't forget things too easily. The other reason is the fact that he is AAW's champion. Since I showed up in AAW all I've heard is this "face of the company" term being thrown around. If being a champion makes you the "face of the company" then AAW has the ugliest face of just about any company I've competed for! Look at him, all the tattoos and the piercings- that's not championship material. He doesn't have the pedigree that I have. He isn't a first class, second to none, THIRD GENERATION wrestling superstar. He isn't the "face of the company" and he isn't fit to lace up my boots. So why did I attack Seth Knight? Because if taking his spot makes me the face of the company, then and only then will AAW stand a chance. Until there is no more Seth Knight, all of my Union City fans can still come and give a standing ovation for the REAL face of the company."
Will Knight be able to turn back Wayne's challenge this Saturday night? Join AAW at the Giant Flea Market in Union City and find out! Tickets are $6 at the door and bell time is 7 p.m.
Memphis Legend, former NWA World Tag Champion scheduled for Dec. 29 show
One of the legendary figures in Memphis Wrestling history will be on hand for the Dec. 29 show at the Giant Flea Market in Union City as "Superstar" Bill Dundee will be making an appearance at the All Action Wrestling card that Saturday night.
Dundee, has been wrestling in the Mid-South area for nearly 40 years, is a multiple time Southern Heavyweight Champion and has held numerous tag team titles, including the AWA World Tag Team titles on two occasions with longtime rival Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Dundee is not the only Memphis tag team legend that will be in the house on Dec. 29 as one-half of PG-13 Wolfie D. will be on hand as well.
Wolfie, like Dundee, has held numerous tag titles throughout his career, including the USWA World Tag Team titles 16 times. While wrestling under the name Slash for NWA-TNA, he was one-half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions, which he held with Brian Lee from November 2002 through January 2003.
Be sure to check back closer to the event for more information on what should be a huge night of wrestling at the Giant Flea Market in Union City.
